Peninsula Canoe Club Auction date changed Please note the canoe club is cleaning out their side of the canoe racks - Auction 19th Sept. 11h00.The IYC commitee has started moving squatter boats down to the south side of the boat park. If you do not claim you boat by the 14th of November it will be auctioned off.Please do not leave trailers in the way of the big boat access gates , South side, It clogs up the entrance & makes it difficult to offload & load boatsPlease either renew your membership, sell or donate your boat. The deadline is getting close.Many thanks to all those who have allready paid their annual subs, Ginny is busy with the recons. We will be confirming confirmation of payment ...

Opening Cruise – 29th August Trust everybody is well have all been doing the winter maintenance & getting ready for the new season. The Opening Cruise will be on the 29th August – just around the corner!Although subs is due no later than 31st October 2010, for those wishing to take part in away regattas, you need a new SAS number. Please try pay ASAP so Ginny can order the new SAS numbers from Wendy in large batches not Drips & drabs. New membership application form here, and membership renewal from here. The Junior fleet is quite healthy with an really promising Dabbie fleet, potential of 12 regular Dabbies & 3 Oppies. Lances' challange last season was to bring a friend, the challange remains. Bridge and Rescue Seminar We will be doing a bridge and rescue seminar this coming Sunday, It will be to familiarize people with the flags, what they mean etc plus how to rescue and how to be rescued.We will be having a bring & braai as well.For all who want to dust the cobwebs & moth balls off their dinghies. If you want to rig & make sure everything is OK for the opening cruise Alan will be on hand to assist especially the juniors. If you want to go for a test sail that fine as well.
